Trilogies

Old Masons were building their works upon three main basis called: Wisdom, Force and Beauty;
in honor of woman deity, whom illustrators of middle Ages have dedicated three of the twenty-two allegorical compositions of Tarot.
Wisdom has an image of a feathered Queen just like Venus-Uranium or Virgo zodiac. It is the Sophia of the Gnostic school, the virgin mother of the ideas that generates the form.
She is the intelligence who conceives the humanity temple and decides its plan.
Force in putting into power the idea, submitting stubborn energies. It does not look as an athlete, but as a graceful and delicate woman who dominates with a smile a furious lion, the symbol of passion which must be defeated and suppress for the sake of the Great Work.
Just like the Truth, Beauty appears unclothed. She wets the dry land which immediately covers with greenery and flowers. She is the fairy of the Ideal and Aspiration to the stars which makes life more beautiful and dear to humans, even if it is ruthless and full of suffering.
Sometimes the masonry triangle is interpreted as follows:
Think Wise (Good)
Speak GoodDo Good

Wisdom, Strength and Beauty – are the three columns of the Masonic theory that correspond to the lasso III, VIII and XVII of the Tarot and represents the highest theoretical intelligence, practical energy reasonably used and aesthetic sense which knows how to embellish everything around.
For masonry in Latin countries, the triangle evokes the following slogan:
Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.
Perhaps this formula has disappointed in this type of policy, yet, it didn’t in Masonic initiation.
True Freedom belongs to the Human who freed itself from tyranny of vices and passions and from slavery of errors and preconceptions. It is the exclusive arbiter of initiation that remains free, even in the times when is put in chains by the enemy of good. The real inalienable freedom is carried by human in itself and no tyrant can take it away from him.
Equality does not exist except in the minds of philosophers, who see the world as a theater in which every role is agreed upon. How ridiculous would be actor, who staring as a prince would come to the point of despising his colleague who’s acting as a beggar! Aren’t they both actors? And if one of them is superior to the other, isn’t that the one who knew to exactly respect and meet the playwright's intentions?
Brotherhood is for Anglo-Saxons, the result of the conviction that we all are the children of the same God. Leaving aside theology and living human solidarity, Latin Masons came to believe that there are stronger ties between people than blood. Unlike a family, no matter how big it is, human being species is truly united, forming a single body in which every being is a living cell enlivened by the same life. Making an injustice to the other one would mean hurting yourself by the touch of the public. Devoting yourself to the good of the public, on the contrary, increases the value of the individual, as the good made has a direct impact on everyone.
